    A possible biography of Irma Thälmann

    Irma rarely saw “Teddy” in the flesh. That’s what friends, supporters and comrades called her father.

The films are part of the project Thinking from the Pedestal, realised as the outcome of an art competition organised by the District Office of Pankow Berlin for an artistic commentary on the Ernst Thälmann Monument.

Funded by the Federal Republic of Germany and the State of Berlin as part of its "Urban Redevelopment" programme.
